Almost Anything Goes Contests

The Boone County 4th of July Committee is now accepting applications for the Teen, Adult and Experienced Adult Almost Anything Goes Contests.

The Teen competition will be held on June 30th, the Adult competition will be July 1st and the Experienced Adults on July 2nd. All events will be held at the Memorial Park Bandstand beginning at 6:30pm. Further information will be sent to teams following their selection.

Seven member teams must be comprised of three males, three females and a captain of either gender. A $20 entry fee must accompany each application. This fee will be returned to any team not selected for the competition.

All members of the Teen teams must be between the ages of 13-19. Adult contestants should be between the ages of 20-40. Experienced adults should be age 40 and over.

Area businesses, clubs, organizations and individuals are encouraged to sponsor teams for this often zany event which has become an anchor event for the week-long Independence Day Celebration in Lebanon. Entries should be submitted early as only ten teams will be selected for each evening's competition.

These teams will be selected by a random drawing to be held on June 4th, 2008. Only entries received prior to this date will be considered.

Liability waivers are required of all contestants. Those Teens under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian countersign the waiver.

The $20 entry fee must be enclosed and each entry must clearly indicate which contest is being entered. Make check payable to: Boone County 4th of July Committee.
