
Freedom, family, and friends are the threads that weave the fabric of the annual Boone County Fourth of July Celebration this summer.
For those familiar with the 50-year plus tradition, this year's theme, "Freedom Family Friends on the Fourth," reflects , what occurs around Boone County during the annual mid-summer holiday.
Ralph Wortman, the longtime executive director of the Lebanon Boys and Girls Club, is the 2008 RadioMom Boone County Fourth of July parade marshal. Wortman embodies this year's theme via his association with the club, which serves many area children and families.
Enter this year's RADIO MOM 2008 Fourth of July Parade with your float, walking unit or decorated vehicle. Each unit is eligible to win an award. This year's entry fee is $10.00 before June 26, 2008 and $15 after June 26th. An entry form must be completed and returned with the fee by JUNE 26, 2008. Please provide specific details regarding your entry to allow us to plan for the most beneficial placement in the parade for both you and the spectators. The theme of this year's parade is "Freedom, Family, Friends on the Fourth." This theme highlights celebrating our country's freedom with family and friends.

Parking will be available at the Lebanon Little League Field and the adjacent grassy lot. Please note that due to security, safety, and space limitations, NO VEHICLES OTHER THAN PARADE ENTRIES WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE HIGH SCHOOL PARKING LOT. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
