The Lebanon Public Library United We Read Community Read Program runs from September 2, 2008-January 31, 2008 this winter! Join us as we celebrate Hoosier authors and getting to know our roots! The selections are:
Children's Picture Book: Town Mouse, Country Mouse by Jan Brett
Young Adult Book: When I Crossed No-Bob by Margaret McMullen
Adult Book: Bean Blossom Dreams by Sallyann Murphey
Audio/Visual Audiobook: Classic Radio Humor Series by Jean Shepherd
The Community Read Program promotes literacy and community by bringing together readers throughout Lebanon to read and discuss selected books. Books are selected for each age group. All you have to do to participate is stop by the library, borrow a copy of the book for your reading level, read it, and get your name entered in a drawing to win a prize! It's just that easy!
