2008 Winter Holiday Closures
In observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, Lebanon Public Library will close on:
Winter Reading 2009
Winter Reading at the Lebanon Public Library encourages readers to curl up with a great book! Beginning on January 12, 2009, sign up in the appropriate department to receive your reading log. Prize drawings and completion prizes will be awarded to participants!
“Warm Up with a Good Book” in the Children's Department! The 2009 Winter Reading Program begins January 12 and runs through March 28. Sign up for Winter Reading at the Children’s Department desk. Participants reading at least one book may bring their reading log into the library once per week to be stamped. When your reading log is completely filled in and stamped, you will receive a small prize.
"Read like a Rock Star" in the Young Adult Department. Read books, fill in your log, and bring it back in to be entered in the grand prize drawing! A full log earns a free book or prize. The Grand Prize drawing will be held in March and is for a Nintendo DS! This program will run until March 21, 2009.
"Cozy Up to a Good Book" in the Adult and Audio/Visual departments! You may sign up either at the Adult Circulation or Audio/Visual desks.
United We Read Community Read Ends January 31
The 2008-2009 United We Read Community Read Program began on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 and will wrap up on January 31, 2009. Don't forget to get your entry in to the Library! We are delighted to present selections for readers of all levels. Many of the authors will be be visiting LPL to talk about their books! Join us as we celebrate literacy and community!
