Twilight/New Moon Movie Marathon!

Join us at the Lebanon Public Library on Saturday, March 27, from 11am-4pm for both movies and lunch! Twilight kicks off at 11am, and New Moon will start at 2pm.

Registration is required, and there is a $1 fee for this event due at the time of registration. Please sign up in the Audio/Visual Department.

The Lebanon Public Library is proud to offer patrons the Learning Express Library's new Job & Career Accelerator™! The Job & Career Accelerator™ combines everything you need for a successful job search into one easy-to-use online application. Use the service to explore information on over 1,000 different occupations, match your interests and skills with the career that's best for you, search up-to-the-minute local and national job postings, create professional resumes and cover letters, practice interviewing skills, and organize and track your job-search progress all in one place! Use in combination with the Learning Express Library's career training modules to find your best career. To access the Job & Career Accelerator&trade, either click on the logo link or log into the Learning Express Library (you only need to register once to use both).

New Service: Faxing!

LPL is pleased to announce the addition of a public fax machine at the Library! The new fax machine is located in the Adult Services Department, next to the public copier. The cost to send is $1.50 for the first page and $1 for each additional page for faxes in the United States; international faxing is also available. Payment must be made with a credit card at this time. Mastercard, Visa, American Express, or Discover are accepted. Faxes may only be sent at this time

Adult Winter Reading 2010: Find a Treasure— Read for Pleasure!

The Adult Winter Reading Program will run from Monday, January 11, 2010 until Saturday, March 27, 2010. Prizes will be awarded on Monday, March 29, 2010. Sign up at the Adult Circulation Desk or the A/V Circulation Desk and receive your reading log. After you read or listen to 5 books, turn your log back in at one of the desks. Your log will be entered in the prize drawing. You may enter as many times as you wish by turning in completed reading logs. Magazines, books on tape or CD are eligible in addition to books; music CDs and movies are not eligible.


Children's Winter Reading 2010: Your Library—A Treasure's Trove

Celebrate all the wonderful items that you can find in your library. From books to movies and everything in between, a jewel is waiting around every corner. Enjoy your choice of items from the categories listed on your reading log to win weekly prizes. When your list is complete you will receive a free book! Winter Reading ends March 27th.
