Boone County Leadership

Boone County Leadership is a not-for-profit organization providing education and training in Boone County, Indiana. Our mission is to build a stronger community by bringing together a diverse group of emerging and existing leaders to enhance their leadership skills, increase their community knowledge, and inspire their commitment to serve.

Classes meet one half-day each month for eight months starting in September. The program covers existing and emerging issues such as: Agriculture, County Planning and Development, Courts and Legal System, Education, Healthcare, Local and State Government, Manufacturing, and a visit to the Indiana Stathouse (while in session). While this program has been modeled on successful efforts in other counties, both in Indiana and across the nation, BCL's program is uniquely designed to serve the needs and interests of individuals living and/or working in Boone County.
