This closing corresponds to the Zionsville Community School’s scheduled Spring Break week. If work is completed ahead of schedule, the library may open earlier than planned. - Computer Savvy Seniors Part 1 from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm at Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library (250 N. Fifth St., Zionsville). A special introductory computer learning program for adults 55 and older. The basics of computers, Microsoft Windows, word processing, internet and E-mail will be covered in a relaxed environment that moves at the participant’s pace. Weekly three hour sessions are scheduled each Tuesday from March 9 through May 11 and include new topic introductions and lesson reviews. $95 fee must be paid at registration. Manual included. Participants may share a book with a furry, four-legged friend from TheraPets of Indiana on the first Tuesday of each month. The certified therapy dogs help create a safe environment for children as they read aloud and practice their reading skills. Space is limited and registration is required for each program. - cineMAX: Strangers in Good Company from 10 am – 12 pm at Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library (250 N. Fifth St., Zionsville). Dr. Max Case, film enthusiast and former Brebeuf and IUPUI instructor, will present a monthly film series focusing on how unexpected encounters in the lives of older adults can become transformative moments. An open discussion will follow each film. This session will feature the 1991 film starring Alice Diablo, Strangers in Good Company, rated PG. Light refreshments will be provided. - Home and Garden Show at the Boone County Fairgrounds from 4-8 pm on Thursday and Friday and from 12-6 pm on Saturday. Sponsored by the Boone County Chamber of Commerce.
- The Lebanon Kiwanis Club will host its 56th annual Pancake Supper from 4:30 - 8 pm at the Boone County 4-H Community Building. As in past years, the Kiwanis Pancake Supper helps to kick off the annual Boone County Chamber Home Show. Tickets are $6 per person, children preschool age and younger are free.
This year the Kiwanis Club has chosen the Boone County Youth as Resources program as its special project. One dollar from each ticket sold will go to support this program. Youth as Resources challenges youth to identify community needs and design projects that use their skills, creativity and energy to help others in the community. Youth as Resources (YAR) provided grants to Boone County youth groups who create projects that are youth-led and address community needs. The next YAR grant cycle will be held this fall.

- 8th Annual Z'Run and the "No Excuses" Health Fair from 9-11 am at the Zionsville Middle School sponsored by the Zionsville Middle School PTO. A 5K Run and 1 Mile Family Walk – dogs are invited too! - The Lebanon Eagle's Jimmy Durante Fundraiser benefiting the Boone County Special Olympics (BCSO) at Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2062 (2140 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, IN 46052). - The Lebanon Public Library hosts Celtic fiddler Emily Ann Thompson from 6:30-8:00 pm in the Top Floor Meeting Room at Lebanon Public Library (104 E. Washington St. Lebanon, IN 46052). Emily plays traditional Irish, Scottish, and Cape Breton tunes in highly energetic and original arrangements. Emily performs with guitar and percussion, and she often adds vocals, piano, and Irish dance. Refreshments will be served. Registration is required and there is a $5 fee for this event.
