Note: due to market conditions, the following scholarships will be available for the 2008-09 scholarship season. Please continue to check this page in December for additional opportunities.

Other Scholarships Available to Boone County Students:

  • American Legion Post 79 - Jack Clark Scholarship - Preference given to relatives of Jack Clark or children of Legion members, who exemplify commitment to the Community.
  • Boone County REMC Operation Round-Up Board Scholarship - students who want to apply for the Boone County REMC Operation Round-Up Board Scholarship, need to get the information from either: Lebanon Educational Foundation, Guidance Department of Zionsville Community High School, Western Boone Education Foundation or the Guidance Department at Sheridan High School.
  • John & Carol Myers Scholarship Fund (PDF) - The student has completed no less than one year of post secondary education and is considered at least a second year student by the student's chosen institution of higher education; the student has a minimum GPA of 3.0; the student will attend an accredited Indiana institution of higher education; the student has volunteered during the political campaign of a Republican candidate, worked for the Republican Party, or worked for an affiliated organization. The amount awarded for this scholarship varies, but typically starts at about $500.00. The date is January 15, 2009.
  • Johnson County Community Foundation - The Hamann Family Memorial Scholarship, the Peeples Foundation Trust Scholarship, and the Umbarger Show Feed Scholarship are also available to Boone County students.
  • Ottinger-Sprong Foundation - 3 scholarships: Education Scholarship - PDF 44K, Leadership/Community Service Scholarship - PDF 44K, and Vocational Scholarship - PDF 44K. Applications must be submitted to foundation address no later than March 15, 2009.
  • Purdue Club of Boone County Scholarship - You must attend Purdue University in the fall to receive the monies from this scholarship. The Purdue Club of Boone County Scholarship is a $750 award for a graduating senior from each Boone County School (Lebanon High School, Western Boone High School, Zionsville Community High School). The completed application must be turned in to the high school's guidance office by March 31, 2009.
  • Zionsville Alumni Association Scholarship Information (PDF 64K) - Scholarship for a graduating senior at Zionsville High School. Application must be submitted to ZHS Guidance Office no later than March 15, 2009.
  • Zionsville Athletic Booster Club Scholarship - awarded to a Zionsville Community High School student involved in athletics.
  • A list of other scholarships that are available to students at Lebanon, Western Boone, and Zionsville High Schools (this list is maintained by the webmaster at Western Boone High School).

Lebanon High School Students:

In addition to the scholarships noted above, Lebanon students may also be eligible for scholarships offered through the Lebanon Educational Foundation. These scholarships are not administered by the Community Foundation of Boone County, and are offered only to students of the Lebanon schools.
