About BASE
The Youth Action Community Council (YACC) of Boone County, Inc. administers the Before and After School
Experience (BASE) program.
We serve approximately 500 children each day with an appoximate staff ratio of 1:15. This program is in operation grades pre-kindergarten through 6th at the following schools located within Boone County:

Our program provides a variety of activities. We have a planned curriculum each day. A few of the activities we offer
are homework/reading time, creative time, games, clubs, and a.m./p.m. snack times. BASE opens each school morning at 6:30 am and concludes each
day at 6 pm.
 
BASE provides full day daycare during Summer, Fall, Christmas, Spring breaks, and Harney Intersession.
Our staff are kind, caring individuals who have the welfare of the children uppermost in their minds.
