2009 Registration Information

Registration is underway for the 2009 Zionsville Little League baseball and softball season. 

Boys ages 6 through 16 as of April 30, 2009 and girls ages 7 through 14 as of December 31, 2008 are eligible to register. Players are assigned to specific divisions based on Little League age determination guidelines.

Discounted registration fee of $125 per child is now available, increasing to full fee of $175 beginning February 1. Register using the on-line service and secure credit card payment feature. Parents must register each player individually and volunteer application is required with each registration. Players registering for the first time with ZLL are required to provide proof of age and residency documentation. These documents must be presented at the required player evaluations.

All registered players are required to attend an evaluation to be eligible to play in the league. The evaluation schedule for all ages of baseball and softball will be available on this site soon.

Volunteer Opportunities Available with ZLL Board of Directors

The success of Zionsville Little League depends on volunteers. Six open seats remain on the ZLL Board of Directors: Safety Officer; VP Baseball (13 & over); Special Events; and Fund Raising.

For the position of Safety Officer, the ideal candidate will have experience in the fields of health or medicine. For the position of Sponsorship, one person could hold the board seat, yet a committee of additional volunteers could be organized to help with this large yet vital responsibility.

In addition to seats on the board, ZLL also is recruiting volunteers to serve as Commissioners for each age group of baseball and softball.
