The Rotary Club of Zionsville wishes to invite you to consider participating in the Club's first Holiday Gift Fair being held on Saturday, November 11, 2006 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The event will be one of a couple of major fundraising events being hosted on this date by the Club. The Theme is BidZ for KidZ. All proceeds for the event will be donated to local and international organizations that support children, e.g. local public library, nature center, boys and girls club, high school scholarships, and dictionaries for school age children living in Mexico.
The Holiday Gift Fair will be held inside Weitzel Hall on the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church campus. Weitzel is the building in the northeast corner of the intersection of 950 and Hwy 334 on the west side of Zionsville [A block west of Boone Village, turn to the north on 950 and then immediately to the right at the first drive. Weitzel is the building on your right as you pull in the first drive.]
Each participant will have a 10 foot wide by 8 foot deep booth space with one table and 2 chairs. This space size will rent for $25. Electricity will be provided. If you need additional display furniture, it will be your responsibility to bring this in.
Exhibitors, please only plan to sell items that can be used as gifts for the holidays. Do not bring items to sell made outside of the U.S. We prefer that you bring only items that you have had a hand in making. We want the items for sale in the booths to be of very good quality, design, and sold at a reasonable cost. Books are OK to sell. This is the only exception to manufactured outside the U.S. Although books need to be focused on family needs such as books for children, cook books, craft books, etc...ones that might make nice gifts.
Please advise by October 27, 2006 by submitting the Holiday Gift Fair application form (PDF 92K) to the address provided. If you would like to participate and send a list of items that you plan to sell in your booth plus your check for $25.
If you do not show up by 8:30 a.m. on November 11, 2006, we reserve the right to resell your booth space.
Other events hosted by the Rotary Club on November 11, 2006 include a silent auction, cash raffle and fine art auction. The fine art auction will begin at 7 p.m. and will be held in the former sanctuary of St. Alphonsus adjacent to Weitzel Hall.
The community is invited to all events.
The Club reserves the right to reject applicants who are not planning or do not set up on November 11, 2006 to sell gift type items that in our opinion fit the categories of goods that we would like to have offered for sale at this event.
Please be especially careful to fully describe your goods.
